Warfighters are facing increasingly advanced technical adversaries on a dynamic, multi-domain battlefield. We are leading the effort for advances in mobility, signal processing capability, technology insertion, and cross-mission integration. Key technologies include those contributing to reductions in size, weight, and power, and new software development toolkits such as hybrid field programmable gate array and graphics processing unit (FPGA/GPU) signal processors. This combination of speed to fielding and increased mobility is needed in today’s environment where advances in beamforming and spot beam formation make versatility and adaptability a must.


We provide modular, multi-functional hardware and software solutions that include optimizing design baselines so that solutions become adaptable to changing system architectures. Recent examples include internal research and development initiatives for Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber-Defense, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance(C5ISR) Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS) integration for software solutions. With software development occurring at four of our eight facilities, and software developers working across the US, we employ the latest collaboration and DevSecOps tools.

Software Defined
Radio-Enabled Systems

Digital radio tower

We have a proven software-defined radio capability that is a custom solution built onto the GNU Radio platform to create a highly customizable form factor. Leveraging open-source libraries as a base, we can rapidly create signal processing blocks to meet customer needs agnostic of production hardware. Deployment to SDR hardware can be done quickly without rebuilding the system. This includes adding additional radio capability (modem blocks) to the system without requiring a complete rebuild.


We were recently awarded the $896 million Modernizing Instrumentation Solutions for Test and Evaluation (MISTE). The MISTE program, whose customer is the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), is designed to deliver test instrumentation to Army test ranges while using an enterprise approach that focuses on commonality and interoperability in the phased execution of subsequent delivery orders (DO). To date, there are 23 delivery orders focused on design; development; and delivery of advanced technical capabilities covering requirements for test communication/networks, sensors, data collection, and test environments.

We have a long history of successfully integrating Military Specification (MIL-SPEC) platforms in either a prime mover or towed configuration with COTS products. To ensure that tactical platforms are developed with the necessary rigor, we have developed sound and deliberate engineering practices to confirm their operation and survivability. A variety of simulation tools are used by our experienced engineering team to iteratively develop tactical systems using applicable environmental parameters and specifications highlighted in MIL-STD 810H. These parameters are combined with known equipment specifications and simulated with either computation fluid dynamics (CFD) or finite element analysis (FEA) to produce thermal load, mechanical load, and shock/vibration analyses.


We specialize in custom antenna design and manufacturing. From government to commercial customers, we offer antennas solutions that meet a variety of requirements, including directional, omni-directional, and various polarizations. We have delivered and integrated low-power and high-power solutions ranging from 10 kHz to 60 GHz.
