LinQuest Corporation is proud to announce the award of the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Task Order on the C4ISR Operational Management, Engineering, and Technical Services (COMETS II) contract to the LinQuest team. Together with our teammate, Scitor Corporation, LinQuest will provide systems engineering, acquisition support and launch and on-orbit technical support services to the WGS Group in the MILSATCOM Systems Wing (MCSW) at LA AFB.
The WGS Group is responsible for the acquisition, launch, on orbit testing and sustaining engineering of the Wideband Global SATCOM system. The WGS system provides critical communications and broadcast data, video and voice services to US and US allied war fighters around the world.
LinQuest currently provides systems engineering services for MUOS, MILSTAR, AEHF and TSAT programs. "LinQuest is honored to be selected for the WGS task order. We now provide SATCOM technical services that span Wideband, Protected, Narrowband, Net centric, and Commercial SATCOM systems for a variety of customers," said Scott Stowe, Vice President and General Manager of LinQuest Corporation's Military Space Systems Group. "Although we have grown our domain expertise to include launch, navigation and ISR systems, it's a great privilege to extend our 30 year legacy of MILSATCOM engineering and operations services."
LinQuest Corporation is proud to announce the award of the Aerospace Technology Evaluation & Assessment (ATEA) to the InfoSciTex team which includes LinQuest. As part of the InfoSciTex team, LinQuest will employ and generate state-of-the-art modeling, simulation, and analysis tools and techniques in the evaluation of current and future warfighter aerospace vehicle capabilities for the Air Force Research Lab's Air Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/RB) and Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) at Wright-Patterson AFB.
The Air Vehicles Directorate is the preeminent aeronautical vehicle research and development organization in the world. Their core disciplines are focused on the areas of aeronautical science, vehicle control technologies and structures for all atmospheric and trans-atmospheric vehicles. The Air Vehicles Directorate develops technologies in these core disciplines from inception through transition to both current and future military aerospace vehicles.
LinQuest currently provides modeling, simulation, and analysis as well as systems engineering services for GPS, MUOS, MILSTAR, AEHF and TSAT systems and enterprises. "LinQuest is honored to be a part of the InfoSciTex Team selected to provide research and engineering support on the ATEA contract for AFRL's Air Vehicles Directorate. This expands LinQuest's presence at Wright Patterson and in AFRL" said Jim Light, Vice President and General Manager of LinQuest Corporation's New & Emerging Programs Group. "LinQuest and our engineering staff are excited about our opportunity to support AFRL's evaluation of current and future generations of aerospace vehicle capabilities."
LinQuest is pleased to announce our membership in the Network Centric Operations Industry Consortium (NCOIC). This membership is another demonstration of our committment to acheiving netcentric capabilities for our customers. Dr. Martin Kampe is LinQuest's technical coordinator with the NCOIC. LinQuest has leadership roles in other netcentric activities. For example Dr. Arthur Wang is a member of the IEEE standards board for WIMAX, and Dow Street is the Executive Director of the Internet Architecture Board of the Internet Engineering Task Force. As evidenced by these positions and our performance on key netcentric programs, LinQuest is truly a leader in engineering network centric solutions for the war fighter.
