14 Feb 2012 - LinQuest acquires Schafer Corporation's Colorado Springs operation

LinQuest Corporation announced today the acquisition of Schafer Corporation's Colorado Springs operations. The acquisition includes Schafer's Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA)contracts related to Space Control and Air Force Space Command Headquarters. The acquisition became effective on February 13, 2012.

Dr. Leon Biederman, LinQuest's President and CEO, stated, "I am very excited about the strategic potential of this acquisition, particularly with the support to the Space Control customer. This acquisition strengthens our presence in the Colorado Springs market and when synergized with our current offerings will allow us to better serve our existing and new customers not only in that region but in other areas as well. We are ready to integrate and welcome the former Schafer employees into our company and look forward to their continued success now as part of LinQuest."

31 Jan 2012 - Mike Morgan, Londa Phillips, and Dr. Hoai Vu Presented LinQuest Excellence Awards

LinQuest is pleased to announce our 2011 LinQuest Excellence Awards winners:

Londa Phillips has been awarded the Corporate Excellence award in recognition of her extraordinary efforts in contract management.

Mike Morgan has been awarded the Management Excellence Award in recognition of his contributions and acheivements as the Program Manager on our CSMC contract.

Dr. Hoai Vu has been awarded the Technical Excellence Award for his significant technical acheivement in developing a method to more accurately determine remaining fuel on on-orbit satellites.

22 Jan 2012 - LinQuest awarded ACCESS contract

LinQuest Corporation is proud to announce that the Headquarters Aeronautical Systems Center (HQ ASC) at Wright Patterson Air Base awarded an ACCESS contract to the LinQuest team on November 29th, 2011. The ACCESS multiple award, indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity contract has a $500M ceiling for each awardee and a $950M total program ceiling. The LinQuest Team includes Alpha-Omega Change Engineering; Clear Creek Applied Technologies, Inc.; Intuitive Research and Technology; Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, System High Corporation; and Whitney, Bradley, and Brown Consulting.

22 Nov 2011 - LinQuest Awarded USCYBERCOM Task Order

The US Army Space and Missile Defense Command/ Army Strategic Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT) Contracting Office has awarded the "Planning Support for DOD Information Enterprise for USSTRATCOM" task order to LinQuest on the C4ISR Operations Management, Engineering and Technical Services (COMETS II) contract. LinQuest will provide analytical support to the USCYBERCOM J3, the DISN/GIG Flag Panel Chair, for directing, making, and delegating risk decisions for information exchanges and connections on the Defense Information Enterprise (DIE). LinQuest is teamed with Zel Technologies (ZelTech)on this effort.

The technical analysis and administration accomplished by the Flag Panel for the GIG connection process is critical to the integrity of the DIE," said Rich Williams, LinQuest AVP.

18 Nov 2011 - Joe Dodd joins LinQuest as VP, Enterprise Intitiatives

LinQuest Corporation announced today that Joe Dodd has joined the company as Vice President, Enterprise Initiatives. Joe will report to Dr. Leon Biederman, Chairman and CEO. He previously worked at TASC Inc. in Chantilly where he served in a number of corporate leadership roles including business development, operations, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to TASC, Joe worked as an executive in the commercial remote sensing Industry, at Hughes Space & Communications, and at the Aerospace Corporation. He has a proven track record in translating strategy to revenue growth and is well known in Industry and Government circles in the Capitol Region.

In this new role, Joe will lead efforts to formulate and execute a Washington DC and East Coast customer growth strategy. This strategy will encompass the expansion of LinQuest's business base with Intelligence Community (IC) customers, OSD, Service agencies, and other federal acquisition organizations. Other responsibilities include enhancing the reputation, engagement, and name recognition of LinQuest in the Washington DC environment - both with customers and stakeholders in Industry and on Capitol Hill. Joe will work with other executives in the Capitol Region to fully leverage LinQuest's existing east coast business base, the full range of corporate capabilities, and the strategic opening to the IC brought by the recent acquisition of MOSAIC, Inc.

15 Oct 2011 - LinQuest opens two new offices

LinQuest is pleased to announce the opening of our two newest offices in the Maryland area.

The first is located on the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) base at 6210 Guardian Way, Suite 185, APG, Aberdeen, MD 21005. This facility provides LinQuest a local presence at APG.

The second new office is located 10 minutes from Ft. Meade at 7550 Teague Road, Suite 407, Hanover, MD 21076. This facility provides LinQuest a presence close to DISA, which recently completed the move to Ft. Meade. In addition, this facility will facilitate our interactions with other nearby customers.

22 Sep 2011 - LinQuest awarded cyber task order

LinQuest Corporation is proud to announce that the Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) Headquarters has awarded the "Analytical Support of Cyber" Task Order to the LinQuest team on the Contract for Space and Missile Capabilities (CSMC). LinQuest will provide analytical expertise in support of AFSPC Cyber Analyses of Alternatives (AoA's) and/or "AoA-like" analyses dealing with Air Force networking, enterprise network services, situational awareness, and command and control. The task order was awarded at just over $2.4 million over a period of performance from September 26, 2011 through September 25, 2012. LinQuest assembled a team that includes Schafer Corporation and TASC to meet the unique challenges of this effort.
